Mistakes
I spent the entirety of my life making mistakes, selfishly involved in a darkness where I couldn’t see any light. Lost in my mistakes, I followed a path of blindness that led to destruction, meaning self-destruction. I just built this cycle of relapses that I fully embraced, which is the gang life that I loved my whole life—the only life I was taught and knew.
These mistakes did not define who I am, which I learned later through a woman I care deeply for. These mistakes led me to a life I placed myself in, thinking I was a monster, blind and lost in a dark place of evil. But this was not true. I felt I had no choice. This again is not true; they are half-truths, excuses to keep my relapses going, and keep living a life of mistakes and darkness. But you must recognize that these mistakes can define you, break you, or you can simply open your eyes and see that these mistakes can make you a better person.
What person in life has not made a mistake? Can anybody say that they are so perfectly human that they have not made a mistake? But even if you made a mistake, can you fix that mistake? Can’t you spend your time embracing that mistake, building something better? Don’t people spend their entire life making mistakes? This is your foundation for a better human being, a foundation of a better business, a foundation of a better company, etc. You can’t just see your mistakes as failures; you have to embrace them and fix them to make them better.

And I hate this, but does this mean I can’t fix myself or the tattoo? No, I can better myself, and it is this same mistake that makes me a better tattoo artist with better artwork and a better self.
You can apply this in life because your mistakes don’t make you the person you are, and most definitely they don’t define you as a mistake. This is a way to learn, advance, and make yourself a better person. In life as a whole, it was this mistake that made you fix and make your business better. These mistakes led you to fix yourself, and your problems. These mistakes are a blessing, not a curse.
Open your eyes and see that you have to fix this mistake. No one is perfect; this mistake will and can make your company a better company. This mistake or mistake can break you, but it can also fix you. It is your choice, but I encourage you to embrace those mistakes to make yourself better, build a better business, and start a better company. Do not view a mistake as the end of the world—it’s not. It’s a simple mistake that you can learn from…
