gangster brings money, power, respect, and plenty of beautiful women. This is what attracts you, corrupts you. You may not know it or see it, but this changes you. But what they don’t tell you is that
this life hurts you, takes pieces of you, kills you slowly inside, to the point that you are poison yourself, the devil himself.

So much money, you have fun, blow it on drugs, and the women are so lovely. Sex, the pleasure you get, is lovely. You’re so high, you’re in a state of ecstasy, and the sex is so much better. You can f***
for hours; it’s crazy. ‘More! I want more,’ is your thought. Greed corrupts just as easily. Power is the most poisonous. It is true when they say ‘power moves the table.’ One word, one gesture, and it’s done.
Mountains move; this is power; this is poison if you let it be. What would you do with so much power?

It’s the same for a gangster. It’s ecstasy for him: guns, weapons, the power to take a life, another drug for a gangster. Most will say it’s for protection against the enemy; others think it’s fun to shoot
and take life with your hands, as if you are god. Corruption seeps into your mind; this is a gangster’s mind. Ahh, money, buy what you wish, money buys anyone, anything. More women, cars, clothes. Do you believe that there is power in money? Do you see the darkness as it seeps into your minds? Maybe you don’t understand, but a gangster does, perfectly. This is the truth of a life of a gangster.

So many evils everywhere. If it’s not you, it’s another, and it doesn’t stop; it spreads like a virus. More just like you, people you never thought would be corrupted. So much evil, it’s dark.
But then the pain, what about the pain? Did you forget? Yes, it hurts, it takes from you. A kid got shot and killed yesterday, an innocent, he was close to you. ‘Never again,’ you say, so you crush the enemy,
become ruthless and cold. Your closest friend betrays you, so you don’t trust nor talk so much more. People you care for die; now your smile doesn’t exist, more destruction and more retaliation. It’s a never-ending war.

You ask yourself, ‘Why are they shooting at me?’ ‘Because they are the enemy, fam.’ ‘But why?’ ‘Shoot because being friendly will get you killed.’ Now you’re a monster, kid; now you hurt people, kid; now you don’t feel, you are numb. Now you’re dying slowly inside, but you can’t see it. Evil, the devil, fam, you’re the devil now, fam, look in the mirror, fam, what do you see? No answer, you know, fam, you just don’t want to speak the truth because it hurts. Yes, it hurts, fam; it’s too late; you’re broken, fam. It’s too late for you is what your thoughts say; it’s what the devil says, fam. You are the devil, it should always be told, but they hide it or just plain don’t tell. No one tells you living that gangster life hurts you; no one tells you that you lose people, your innocence in the process; no one tells you it leads to life imprisonment. No one tells you the truth because most people don’t like the truth, because yes, the truth actually hurts, and the life of a gangster is a dead end.
